Idol Philippines contestant Alyssa Quijano opens up about ex-BF Jake Zyrus

Alyssa Quijano, the ex-girlfriend of singer Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice Pempengco, has joined the new ABS-CBN talent show Idol Philippines.

KAMI learned that Alyssa opened up about her past relationship with Jake.

According to the aspiring singer, she lost her identity during their relationship but she was able to move on and rediscover herself after their breakup.

“Marami akong na-sacrifice don sa relationship namin kasi I stopped singing, nawala ‘yung Alyssa na kilala ko. I was just giving my all na parang nakalimutan ko na ‘yung sarili ko.

“After the breakup, ‘yung medyo nakaka-move on na ako, I learned a lot from that relationship. Alam kong mahirap din ‘yung mga pinagdaanan niya and I believe na pareho kaming natuto sa mga pagkakamali namin.

“Ngayon, I am pursuing my dreams. I am becoming who I really am, kaya nga bumalik ako ng school and kumakanta ako ulit.

“Now that I’ve shared my story for the first time, this is the time I am leaving my past behind me.”

Alyssa Quijano and Jake Zyrus broke up two years ago. Jake announced months ago that he is now engaged to his current partner Shyre Aquino, a non-showbiz personality.
