“I do not want oppression. I do not want corruption. ‘Pag nahuli kita nang ganun, mauuna ka sa impiyerno talaga. You will go ahead. But I will follow because I know that I will be going to hell,” the President said, as reported by the GMA News (author Jon Viktor D. Cabuenas).
"It’s all right. Hindi naman tayo mag-ambisyon ng langit lahat eh at mapuno tayo doon. Tapos pagdating mo doon baka hindi ka pa papasukin," he continued.
In the same speech, the President threatened the foreign countries that would “destroy” the Philippines. He also encouraged the youth to assert and exercise their rights.
“The only thing that this country needs is for you, the young people, to assert your rights. ‘Yan lang,” he said.
As previously reported by KAMI, President Duterte recently visited China and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their bilateral meeting. The Palace announced that the President raised the concerns of Filipinos about the West Philippine Sea.
