Alex Gonzaga recently revealed how much money she gets from vlogging.
In an interview with Boy Abunda for Inside the Cinema, Alex shared that she is able to earn as much as 6 digits from creating videos as a YouTube vlogger.
"Here in the Philippines, I get 'yung percentage sa ads na pumapasok sa akin. It can range from, mostly nag-6 digits talaga siya," she said.
According to the celeb, a lot of people are able to make a decent living out of creating vlogs alone.
"Makikita mo kasi from the YouTubers na from small houses ngayon lumalaki na, from condo-apartment later on in life, lumalaki na. So depende 'yun sa dami ng videos mo, sa dami ng views mo, so don pumapasok 'yung pera sa'yo. So kapag marami kang videos, marami kang views, mas maraming pumapasok na ads sa'yo so mas marami kang pagpipilian na videos," she shared.
Meanwhile, her sister, Toni Gonzaga, also ventured into the world of vlogging just recently. She also stated the reason as to why Alex decided to focus on vlogging.
According to Toni, "When she veered towards that direction, it was not for the money, it was not for her to monetize it. I keep telling people this, it was actually a therapy for her. It was something for her to release her personality so that people will stop comparing her to me and accept her and embrace her for who she is."
