- Recently, Junjun Binay and Abby Binay-Campos were caught in a heated exchange during a campaign forum at a church in Makati
- In an interview, Junjun defended himself and explained his side of the story
- He added that what happened was "embarrassing"
Former Makati Mayor Junjun Binay has spoken regarding the recent heated argument between him and his sister and political rival, incumbent Mayor Abby Binay-Campos on Saturday at San Ildefonso Parish.
KAMI learned that Junjun tried to keep his cool but lost it due to the heightened emotions at that time. Their father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, was also present and tried to intervene his children.
"Nakakahiya, it's very embarrassing na magtatalo kami. I could have been a better person on hindsight, pero tao lang tayo na di ko na rin natiis," Junjun said during his interview in ANC’s Headstart.
"Biro mo dinuduro-duro ka. The natural reaction is to defend yourself," he added.
Junjun also shared what Abby told her when she went back to her seat that stirred up the heated exchange. The former mayor said it was concerning Abby’s husband, Makati Rep. Luis Campos' alleged involvement to the drug trade.
As previously reported by KAMI, the netizens shared their thoughts about the argument of Junjun and Abby that also went viral on social media.
