Today, April 24, is the first day that the most recent film of the Marvel Studios, the “Avengers: Endgame”, is hitting the cinemas in the Philippines.
KAMI learned that the fans of The Avengers lined up at SM North EDSA as early as 4:30 a.m. to catch the 6:00 a.m. screening, as reported by the ABS-CBN News.
Many moviegoers were excited to be the first to catch the highly-anticipated film. On Tuesday, the purple carpet world premiere of the “Avengers: Endgame” took place in Los Angeles.
About a week before the release of the film, the Russo Brothers, the directors of the Endgame and other Marvel films as well, urged the public not to spoil the ending of their recent movie.
“When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you,” they wrote.
“Remember, Thanos still demands your silence,” the letter added.
The Avengers: Endgame is the sequel to “The Avengers”, “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, and “Avengers: Infinity War.” It is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) after almost 11 years.
