A netizen shared on social media that a fire exit of a popular apartment hotel in Makati was allegedly broken as people were trying to evacuate the area amidst the magnitude 6.1 earthquake.
KAMI learned that ABS-CBN TV anchor Karen Davila also shared the video on Twitter.
“Ascott Makati fire exit sira. Kung malakas ang lindol or may zombie apocalypse patay na kami,” the netizen wrote.
The management of Ascott Makati has yet to comment on this issue.
As previously reported by KAMI, a magnitude 6.1 earthquake rocked some parts of Luzon on Monday afternoon. Many students and employees in Metro Manila evacuated their area.
KAMI also reported earlier that a condominium in Sta. Mesa, Manila, was continuously moving when the earthquake happened. Meanwhile, the water from a swimming pool in a penthouse of a condo in Ongpin was caught in a video overflowing.
