“Spiritual brothers” Fumiya Sankai and Yamyam Gucong did not hesitate to talk about their jobs before entering the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house.
KAMI learned that the confession was made during the duo's recent guesting in the late-night talk show, “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
The host initially commended the two housemates for valuing education so much then he proceeded by asking Yamyam about his educational background.
Yamyam narrated that as early as Grade 5, he stopped studying and decided to work instead so that he could help his parents.
The gentleman from Bohol narrated that he travelled to Cebu just to find available jobs to be able to help his parents.
"Pumunta ako ng [Cebu] at iba't ibang raket [ang] pinasukan: Delivery ng tubig, tinapay, liha, furniture, tapos carwash boy. Tapos yung maid -- pero boy," he recalled.

Yamyam claimed that he sacrificed his studies to earn money and to ease the financial burden of his mother and father.
Meanwhile, Fumiya also shared that he worked as a bellman in a hotel but he later on resigned in order to study English in the Philippines.
The Japanese vlogger said that he did not have enough money to go to Canada or United States, hence he went to this country.
He stated that his friend's uncle taught him about the language and that he decided to do vlogging not long after.
