Hualien, Taiwan was hit by a 6.1-magnitude earthquake last April 18, 2019, shortly after 1PM. The earthquake led to the temporary shutdown of the subway transport services and people from tall buildings were evacuated as well.
However, KAMI learned that a video clip from a facility located in Xizhi District has gone viral on social media. The video clip showed a group of nurses who rushed to protect newborn babies in the nursery.
The nurses can be seen attending to the cots inside the nursery as they comforted the babies who were disturbed by the violent shaking of the building.
The selfless act done by the nurses garnered praises and reactions among netizens.
