- A 20-year-old student found and returned a Pelican case floating on Guimaras Strait
- It contained an iPhone XS Max 256Gb, powerbank and a whole lot more
- The father of the student gave the honest lad P11,000 as reward
Faith in humanity restored! This was the declaration of the father of the student who lost his Pelican case six days ago, but was returned by an honest lad from Guimaras!
KAMI learned that the said case traveled 50 miles in the sea before it was found by Nichol Tagudin, 20-years-old and a resident of Brgy. Umilig, Buenavista, Guimaras Island.
According to the father of the lad who lost the case, his son, Ethan, was driving the jetski when he accidentally fell and lost the case.
They were in Cadiz City when the incident happened. Six days after, they were informed that the case was found by someone from Guimaras!
This means that the case was floating in Guimaras Strait for a good 6 six days, and it traveled about 50 miles from where they lost it, up to the point where it was found by Nichol.
Nichol is a graduate of BIT Automotive from Guimaras State University.
As gratitude, the father of Ethan gave Nichol P11,000 as reward for his honesty!
He also congratulated the proud parents of Nichol, Florencio Tagudin, Jr., and Vicky Tagudin, for raising a God-fearing and honest son!
May Nichol's example teach everyone a lesson about honesty!
