HIGHLIGHT: Korean superstar Lee Min Ho arrives in Manila on Thursday midnight.
The 29-year-old star from South Korea arrived at past 11 o'clock tonight, and will have a series of events for the local clothing brand, Bench.
According to ABS CBN report, he will be in TriNoma and SM Megamall on April 2, SM Seaside Cebu and Ayala Cebu on April 3.
Lee has been back and forth Manila since 2012 and now is his fifth time.
Last year, he delighted fans when he said "Magandang gabi (Good evening)” and “Na-miss ko kayo (I missed you)” as guest for a restaurant's opening.
Lee is best known for hit series, Boys Over Flowers (BOF), where he bagged a number of acting awards and gained international fame. BOF was shown in almost every Asian country including the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia etc. It has also reached Panama, Romania, Botswana, among others.
SoKor has also named Lee as "Face of Korea Tourism" in 2015. The government hopes that his good image could do magic for what they deem a sluggish tourism season due to the outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).
These days, Lee has completed filming an action-comedy movie called "Bounty Hunter", set for release this year.
