President Rodrigo Duterte said that he would not disclose the whereabouts of his wealth. KAMI learned that the President also slammed his critics while delivering a speech at the campaign sortie of the PDP-Laban in Bacolod.

In a report by the GMA News (author Virgil Lopez), President Duterte explained the allegations about his growing wealth.

"Huwag kayong maniwala sa basura ng oposisyon, I will explain it. And besides... it’s always my law partner’s office and ‘yung nagpapabili kami ng motor,” President Duterte said.

"You know I ride the motor. Kayong mga taga-Bacolod alam ninyo ‘yan. And everybody is in the business of big bike. Swap, palit, magdagdag lang ako o magbili ako ng motor mo. Iyan lang naman ang kanila tapos ‘yung kayamanan," he added.

"Sabihin ko sa inyo in due time. Mayaman? Eh taguin ko. Bakit ko sasabihin sa inyo kung saan ko nailagay? G*** pala kayo eh. May tao ba ito na --- maholdup pa tayo. Kung pera, may pera ako. U***," the President quipped.

In a previous report by KAMI, the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) released a report questioning the growing wealth of the President and his children, Sara and Paolo. However, the President just shrugged off the issue.

KAMI also reported before that Marawi civic leader and Otso Diretso candidate slammed the President and reminded him that not fully disclosing the wealth is an impeachable offense. Gutoc noted that the same case happened to the late Chief Justice Renato Corona who was impeached for not disclosing his dollar accounts.
