- The Otso Diretso bets received a low rating in the recent Pulse Asia survey
- However, they remain hopeful despite knowing the result
- Only two opposition candidates made it to the top spots with a high statistical chance of winning
The candidates of Otso Diretso received a low survey ranking, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey. KAMI learned that no opposition coalition bet had made it to the Top 12 candidates.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News (author Adrian Ayalin), the Otso Diretso bets have reacted to their low survey ranking.
“Masaya po kami sa survey, it’s just what we expected, every week umaakyat po kami,” Marawi civic leader Samira Gutoc said.
At inaasahan namin na sa katapusan nito ay magtatagumpay din kami," human rights lawyer Chel Diokno said, as reported by the GMA News (author Erwin Colcol).
For election lawyer Romy Macalintal, his worry is about the senior citizens, person with disabilities, and believers of Catholic Church.
According to the recent survey, only two opposition candidates made it to the Top 16 candidates who have the high statistical chance of winning in the mid-term polls, and these were former Interior Secretary Mar Roxas and re-electionist Bam Aquino.
