A mother reportedly passed away after bumping a goat as she was riding her motorcycle. KAMI learned that the victim was on her way home when the incident happened.
According to a report by the GMA News’ Balita Pilipinas, the victim was identified as Judelyn Tacal, 41. She was an administrative aide in a school.
"May na-established tayong witness na sumusunod sa kanya ng madisgrasya sya. Ang sabi niya, may nabunggo siyang kambing," Police Sergeant Maximino Ramos Jr. said.
When the victim fell, her head hit the road. She was brought to the hospital, but she did not make it.
The authorities said that the owner of the goat has civil liability over the case because they have a city ordinance regarding this matter.
“Kung anoman ang mangyayari sa motorista na involved sa disgrasya dahil sa ipinapastol na kambing ng mga 'yan, may civil liability ang owner,” he said.
The mother left her three children, and the youngest was just 4-month-old. One of her kids reminded everyone to be responsible with animals that they own to refrain incidents like this to happen again.
