Direk Erik Matti breaks his silence on Liza Soberano’s withdrawal from Darna

Erik Matti, who was supposed to direct the upcoming superhero movie “Darna” before leaving the project, has broken his silence on actress Liza Soberano’s decision to also leave behind the film.
KAMI learned that the acclaimed director, who withdrew from Darna due to creative differences, expressed his sadness that Liza would not be the one to play the iconic superheroine.
However, he also expressed his belief that Liza will be able to move on from Darna and find success in other projects.
“Surprised to hear about @lizasoberano letting go of #Darna
“You would have been great for the part.
“I wish you all the best. Definitely, there’s life after Darna.
“Take care always, Hope. Don’t cry no more,” the director wrote on Instagram.
