Ex-PBB housemate Abi Kassem draws flak due to her resurfaced interview video

Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Abi Kassem is once again becoming the subject of online criticism because of a video of her recent interview with Boy Abunda.

KAMI learned that the said video was taken when she served as the guest in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” several weeks ago.

A portion of the trending discussion circulated on social media and even attracted negative comments from the netizens.

It can be seen in the footage that Abi was asked to speak using the Arabic language while explaining how it was to live in Lebanon.

The ex-housemate then uttered a phrase in the said language but when she was asked to repeat what she said, the girl from Isabela stated a different set of words.

“Parang iba na yun ah,” the host commented.

Because of this, a lot of people in social media expressed their unsolicited opinions upon watching the “hilarious” interview.

Some lambasted the credibility of the former housemate while the others did not like the inconsistency of the said woman.

“Ang galing kasi mag gawa-gawa ng kung ano-ano. Pati na yung sabi niya na ‘may crush daw si Andre’ sa kanya!”

”Doon siya mali sa hindi pagkaintindi ng sinasabi ni tito Boy. Tapos bigla sya magsasalita ng iba-iba malay ba naman ni tito Boy.”

“Sana inulit mo na lang ang sinabi mo. Kaya ka naba-bash kasi iniiba-iba mo. Alam mo naman ang tao, pag kay Juan, kay Juan. Pag kay Pedro, kay Pedro.”

“Wala ka ngang isang salita. Kahit anong sabihin mo kay tito Boy, mapa-local man o hindi, di ka rin naman maiintindihan.”

Meanwhile, in the uncut version of the viral interview, Abi explained that what she said just meant the same in Arabic.

Some netizens, who allegedly understand the language, also defended her for saying two versions of her answer.

“The first time she said: A little bit good and a little bit bad. The second one she said: Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Arabic is a very complex language… It’s not good to make fun of people just because you have limited knowledge.”
