Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson shared his opinion about the relationship between the Philippines and China. KAMI learned that Lacson said if the country cannot go to war against China, then they might as well occupy our territory.
In an interview of Sen. Lacson in CNN Philippines’ The Source, the lawmaker said that President Rodrigo Duterte should not advertise our country's weaknesses against China.
“Sasabihin natin hindi naman tayo pwedeng makipagiyera sa China, isang missile lang tapos na tayo. So kung ganun rin lang, pasakop na tayo, 'di ba?" he said.
“Alam mo nang mahina ka, 'wag mo nang ipagsigawan na mahina ka kasi lalo kang ibu-bully," Lacson added.

When asked about what the Senate is doing with the multiple issues that Chinese vessels are occupying the territory of the Philippines and shooing away local fishermen, the senator said that for now, they could only file for a diplomatic protest.
Lacson also added that they call out from time to time if they see lapses or omissions.
As previously reported by KAMI, an alleged Chinese vessel was found in Lobo, Batangas. The residents were alarmed by the foreign ship, and the Palace said that they are still verifying the presence of the vessel in our territory.
