Jim Paredes is currently in hot waters due to his scandalous video which leaked online.
KAMI learned that a celebrity friend of Jim has broken her silence about the controversy.
Veteran singer Leah Navarro defended the embattled singer, saying that he is a victim of a crime since his private video was leaked on social media.
“Laughing at my friend Jim Paredes and his predicament doesn’t make you, video thieves and sharers, any better than him.
“The lengths you went through to reveal his private data are CRIMINAL and you should be charged.
“You violated his privacy. Karma boomerangs big time.
“yup karma hits you when you least expect it. that is why we are sitting back & relaxing here waiting for it to hit you,” she tweeted.
Netizens had mixed reactions over Leah’s statement:
“EXCUSE US. Let me tell you something maam Navarro. Maingay mga DDS because your friend Jim has been for years throwing at Duterte and his allies all sorts of garbage INCLUDING calling Duterte manyakis, etc. And it so happens Jim is worse than his accusations. The hypocrisy!”
“Tama! Karma boomerangs big time. kaya nga kinarma siya.”
“Whoever leaked that video was the real culprit. And if you saw it isa ka sa mga nakakadiri kasi pinanood mo. Why would he need to apologize to the entire country? Di sya nagleak nun. Dapat nga yung nagupload pa ang magsorry.”
“Jim paredes were exploited without his knowledge and approval”
As KAMI reported earlier, Jim has admitted to being the person in the explicit video.
Jim Paredes is one of the members of the iconic OPM group, APO Hiking Society. Aside from being a musician, he is also known as a fierce critic of President Rodrigo Duterte.
