President Rodrigo Duterte has chosen to eat sardines over baby back ribs with vegetables for dinner. KAMI learned that the President enjoyed eating his sardines during the Cabinet meeting.

Secretary Manny Piñol shared the photos of President Duterte during dinner that were taken by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

"Ayaw ko nyan. Bigyan nyo ako ng sardinas," the President said, as shared by Piñol.

The Cabinet member also lauded the humility of President Duterte.

“This shows that this man who now occupies the highest position in the country has not been weaned from his humble beginnings,” Piñol said.
