Former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemate Mark Obera unhesitatingly imparted his frank insights towards Wakim Regalado and his high level of intelligence.

KAMI learned that this happened during the ex-housemate’s one-on-one interview in the entertainment talk show entitled “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”

The topic was brought up when the show’s host asked Mark about how he dealt with several people, including Wakim, inside the prominent house.

He initially talked about his younger sibling Apey Obera and the reason why he claimed that his sister has an unpleasant attitude.

“Kasi nararamdaman ko, kasi gusto kong makasalamuha pa siya, makilala pa siya doon sa bahay. Pag gusto kong mag open ng conversation, lalayo siya,” he revealed.

With regards to his take on Wakim’s intelligence, Mark bravely claimed that the 19-year-old go-getter is a person that is “more on knowledge and not with wisdom.”

He also confessed that the intellect of Wakim already went to the extent that he hurts people around him.

“High yung IQ niya. Ang problema lang doon is more on knowledge and not on wisdom. Because wisdom is the proper application of knowledge,” he stressed.

“Ang dami niyang sinasabi doon na nakaka-offend na din sa mga housemates. Kaya yung paglabas niya, sinabi ko talaga sa kaniya na ‘Turn your knowledge into wisdom,’” he added.

At the latter part of the interview, Mark stated that it is inevitable for people to dislike him for his thoughts but he said that all individuals have varying perception and understanding.

Here is the video of the interview:

In a previous article by KAMI, Mark and the rest of the ex-housemates were criticized heavily for their way of questioning Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette.

Mark Obera is an English and Industrial Arts teacher from General Santos City. He plans to establish pursuits in wrestling, boxing, comedy, and mime if he is given a chance.
