Senatorial aspirant Mar Roxas and ABS-CBN TV anchor Korina Sanchez have finally arrived in the Philippines with their baby twins, Pepe and Pilar.
KAMI learned that Roxas expressed his thoughts on having their baby twins at his age.
In a video uploaded by the Inquirer on Twitter, Roxas said that the twins taught him how to be a father and a grandfather at the same time.
“Pa-retire na kami, e. So senior citizens na kami, tapos biglang tatay, biglang lolo, lola,” Roxas quipped.
Sanchez also expressed her gratitude to the people who genuinely support them in their new journey as parents.
“We’re very happy for everyone who are genuinely happy for us. Thank you so much for all the joy. My goodness,” she said.
As previously reported by KAMI, Paolo Roxas, the son of Mar with his former partner, was able to meet Pepe and Pilar for the first time.
Pepe and Pilar were conceived through a surrogate after almost 10 years since Roxas and Sanchez got married. The twins are the first babies of Sanchez.
Roxas will be turning 69 this coming May, while Sanchez will be 55-years-old in October.
