Undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. has arrived in the Philippines on Sunday morning. KAMI learned that as soon as Mayweather had set his foot in the country, the retired boxer immediately headed to the majestic island of Boracay.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News, Mayweather came from the Maldives before his trip to the Philippines. He is staying at the Movenpick Hotel Resort and Spa.
His Filipino friend, Lester Codog of Foilacar Industries, said that it is possible that Mayweather and People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao would meet in Manila if given a chance.

According to a report by the Rappler, the international boxer flew to the country via his private plane named “Air Mayweather.”
Mayweather also went to the DMall in Boracay and did some shooting.
In May 2015, Mayweather and Pacquiao faced each other in the “Fight of the Century.” Mayweather was able to defeat Pacquiao via unanimous decision. However, there are still talks going around that the two boxing icons would face again for a possible rematch.
