In school, our teachers are told to be our second parents. This thought can be said to Virgita Emilio Diaz, a teacher at Kiblat Elementary School in Malungon, Sarangani.
KAMI learned that in Cris Cordero’s viral post, he revealed that Virgita bought a total of PHP 7,667 graduation gowns for her students.
Aside from this, Cris further revealed in a video that Virgita is said to have ovarian and brèast cancer as well.
Virgita’s act of kindness towards her students has garnered reactions from netizens.
“Teachers, definitely, are heroes. Maybe w/o a cape but w lesson plans.”

As reported earlier by KAMI, on March 25, 2019, local Facebook page ‘Share Mo Lang’ has posted a picture of a father and his daughter attending her graduation ceremony barefoot. The viral photo captivated the hearts of netizens who lauded the father for his efforts. Their photo has inspired Filipinos to dedicate their artworks to them.
