Charo Santos finally released a statement regarding the requests of some netizens to remove the trailer of the horror film “Eerie” on the evening slot.
KAMI learned that a lot of social media users and television viewers admitted to getting scared every time the said trailer is aired.
Some of them even confessed that they always turn their televisions off whenever they hear the creepy music of the movie’s teaser.
Because of this, Charo claimed that the trailer is very effective since the feedback said that it easily frightens a lot of people.
The Kapamilya executive also stated that all individuals need “excitement” or thrill in their lives sometimes.
"Well the trailer is very effective I guess di ba? I hope it translates to great box office experience,” she quipped.
"Paminsan-minsan kailangan ng excitement sa buhay,” she added.
Charo, meanwhile, revealed that there were also ABS-CBN employees who complained about the trailer being aired inside the network’s premises.
She shared that their Human Resource Manager also received messages from their own employees, especially those who leave the compound late at night.
“Ang alam ko mayroon din mga empleyado sa ABS-CBN [na nagrereklamo]. Naka-loop kasi yung trailer sa elevators,” the boss stressed.
“May ilang empleyado na nag-email sa HR head na kung pwede, i-pull down ‘yung trailer kasi pag umuuwi sila ng hatinggabi na [natatakot]," she added.
