Kapamilya actor Ryan Bang willingly exposed to public the funny reason about why he decided to bring his Korean date to a mall in the Philippines.
KAMI learned that the confession happened during the Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) segment of the noontime show, “It’s Showtime.”
The topic was brought up when the program’s host Vhong Navarro teased the Korean heartthrob about his Instagram stories where he was seen with someone else.
In his defense, Ryan explained that he was with a friend from Korea and he described her as a “good-looking” girl.
He then jokingly expressed that he was quite disappointed with the madlang people because of what happened during his date.
“Kasi kagabi, nagdate kami. Tapos sabi niya, ‘Ano ba trabaho mo dito sa Pilipinas?’ Hindi niya alam [na] artista ako,” the foreigner actor quipped.
Ryan added that he found it hard telling his friend that he is a celebrity in the Philippines and he was afraid that he might sound boastful upon the act.
Other co-hosts teased Ryan about his dilemma and he immediately confessed that he decided to take his date to the mall so that his date would realize that he is famous.
“Dinala ko siya sa Glorietta, marami tao eh. Pero madlang people, bakit walang nagpa-picture sa akin noon?” he elucidated.
“Papansin pa ako eh, baka gusto niyo magpa-picture. Lapit kayo, lapit kayo,” he jokingly added.
Meanwhile, Ryan admitted that they are still in the “getting to know each other” phase and that he hopes the madlang people will be supportive of his idea.
