Kapamilya host Teddy Corpuz finally opened up about the rumored disbandment of his iconic rock music group called “Rocksteddy.”
KAMI learned that the singer revealed the truth during his guesting in one of the recent episodes of “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
The topic was brought up when the program’s host Boy Abunda asked about the speculated separation of the members of Teddy’s band in 2018.
Teddy explained that he is the only one who writes the songs of his band which eventually led to his realization that there is a great weight on his shoulder due to that.
“I realized, paano kung kunwari pagod na ako or gusto ko magpahinga, paano yun? Edi galit kayo sa akin kasi wala tayong Rocksteddy,” the vocalist quipped.
The “It’s Showtime” host also shared that majority of his bandmates are dedicating their full time with the band while he has other projects in showbiz.
“Kung may gig kami, may pera kami. Pag wala kaming gig, wala silang pera. Eh ako, meron ako ibang raket,” the veteran singer stated.
“Parang hindi nila ma-gets yung point na hinihingi ko na gusto kong magpahinga,” he added.

Until now, Teddy confessed that he and his bandmates are still on a “conversation stage” about the fate of “Rocksteddy.”
He even revealed that he encourages his fellow musicians in the iconic band to look for other means to generate income.
“Recently, nagkaroon kami ng pag manage ng Rocksteddy merchandise. Pinaubaya ko na yun sa mga ka-bandmates ko. Extra earning for us, for them,” Teddy stressed.
“Para at least ma feel din nila na pag wala kaming gig, may pagkakakitaan rin sila,” he concluded.
