The United Nations recently released a World Happiness Report. KAMI learned that the Philippines now ranks as the 69th happiest country on earth after making it to the 71st spot last year.
In a report by the Philippine Star (author Gaea Katreena Cabico), citizens from 156 different countries were asked about their happiness in terms of life expectancy, social support, freedom, and earnings.
The Philippines made it as the 3rd happiest nation in the world with an average score of 5.63 points out of 10.

Finland remains as the happiest country on earth with an average score of 7.77. Meanwhile, South Sudan dropped at the lowest spot. Some of the “unhappiest” countries in the world are Central African Republic, and Afghanistan,
According to a report by the Manila Bulletin, South Sudan recently experienced a bloody war that killed about 400,000 people. The United Nations reported that 60 percent of the population faced food insecurity after the distress.
