Yeng Constantino has been a certified vegan for three years now and her decision didn't happen out of whim.
KAMI learned that the singer/composer has underlying and heartbreaking reasons as to why she abstained from eating meat.
The singer shared on Facebook a video of two swine. In the video, the healthy swine was gathering hay in the middle of the field.
Then out of nowhere, she grabbed a mouthful and walked towards a small barn.
There was another swine there lying, unable to move, perhaps injured.
The healthy swine then dropped the hay in her mouth beside the disabled swine and coaxed the other to eat.
Then without standing up, the swine started eating out of the hay that the healthy swine bought it.

According to Yeng, choosing to become vegan wasn't easy as there were still times when she's tempted by the smell of meat.
However, she didn't give in. Now, she's happy, at peace, and content at being vegan.
Yeng Constantino is a Filipino singer. She is a judge in Showtime's "Tawag ng Tanghalan." In a previous KAMI report, it showed how down to earth Yeng really is as she loves to do tasks in the province.
