The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Thailand have recently discussed the job opportunities for Filipino teachers that can join the “English for All” project.
KAMI learned that around 200 Filipino teachers will be given the opportunity to teach the English subject in Thai government schools. The two countries have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to close the partnership.

In a press release by the DepEd, they stated that the new project will be able to regulate and protect both the Filipinos and the Thai government.
Secretary to the Minister of Education of Thailand M.L. Pariyada Diskul said that Filipino teachers are highly recommended for they are “diligent” and they blend well with Thai culture. The qualified teachers will be deployed in the provinces of Chonburi and Rayong.
