Senatorial aspirant Atty. Larry Gadon lashed out at a university student when he was asked about the alleged ill-gotten wealth of the Marcos administration.

KAMI learned from the Yahoo! Philippines that during the forum at the University of San Carlos in Cebu, Gadon called the student “bobo.”

The student asked Gadon: “Why do you say that there was no corruption in the Marcos era?”

During the event, Gadon compared the national budget of Marcos administration against the administration of late President Cory Aquino. Gadon also claimed that no corruption happened during the time of late President Ferdinand Marcos.

After Gadon left that remark, a student immediately shouted: “Liar! Evidence?”

The Senatorial candidate, later on, challenged the same student for a debate but in a different venue.

“I’m not lying. You are, you are just ignorant,” Gadon said.

Gadon also insisted that the student should leave the venue for “disrupting” the forum.

“You should go out. The rules is if someone will disrupt the forum, you should go out. I request the organizers ask this fellow to go out. Otherwise, I will walk out,” Gadon stated.

“Don’t argue with me, argue with the organizers. Eh bobo, eh,” he added.

After the student was given a warning, Gadon reiterated that he will be walking out if he will hear from the same student again.

“Any word from him, I will walk out. I am more important than you,” the Senatorial aspirant said.
