Some people believe in the power of fate and destiny given the many stories that we’ve heard online or from our friends and family. Barbie Atienza, a public relations practitioner, shared the story of a couple whose love story seemed to come out of a fairy tale online.

KAMI learned that thirty years ago, Rex Byron Atienza Roxas shared a forehead kiss with his unknowingly wife-to-be Mela Rizo Roxas, when they first met in Baguio. He then ran away after the kiss only for him to meet Mela again a couple years back.

"30 years ago this boy casually walked up to this little girl somewhere in Baguio, and kissed her on the forehead and then ran away. They never met again until a couple of years ago.

“They had absolutely no way of knowing that 3 decades after they would wind up as husband and wife. Amazing. Coincidence? Fate? Destiny? Thats the magic of love!”
