Chokoleit's death really surprised a lot of people including his friends in the showbiz industry.

His friends, Pokwang, Pooh and K Brosas narrated how they were informed about the unfortunate news, during their interview on Magandang Buhay.

For Pokwang, she disclosed that she was in Bataan during that time.

She added that she received consecutive phone calls and text messages from several stars like Angelica Panganiban, Vice Ganda, and Liza Soberano, and they told her about it, but she did not believe it at first.

When she received a text message from Star Magic and a phone call from K and Angelica, that was the time it sank in to her.

While K recalled that it was Vice Ganda who called her to inform her about what happened to Chokoleit.

Lastly, Pooh said that Angelica also notified her about it, he also shared his heart-breaking reaction when he heard the news.

Jonathan Aguilar Garcia also known as Chokoleit, is a Filipino comedian, actor, and TV host.

Chokoleit was born on June 25, 1972. He starred in several Kapamilya shows such 'Mara Clara', 'Aryana', and 'Asintado'. He is best known for his role as Pearly Shell in the Philippine television series Marina.
