Comedian Chokoleit recently passed away after performing in Abra on March 9. Soon after, condolences and tributes for the late comedian have been pouring in ever since.
KAMI learned that Lee O'Brian, Pokwang's partner, also has a touching story to tell about Chokoleit.
He also shared on social media a funny video of Chokoleit together with fellow ninangs and ninongs of Malia.
"Ahhh Chokie, you left us too soon. I still cannot believe this happened.
"I want you to know that I appreciate your friendship so much!! Whether at home or on the road, you always were there for a laugh, but I will remember, also, how we talked about life.
"How you treated me as Lee, not just a foreigner and How you never faked being yourself with anyone, let alone me. And how you clicked with my family, on the occasions you met.
"And when it comes to your calling as a comedian, it’s hard to imagine anyone to match wits, let alone physical humor skills. One of the very best!! Period. It was an honor to watch you perform.
"Hope you are out of your pain now, and may you rest in power!! You have touched my Life and so many other lives.
"I will remember you most for this video, because of how you cared about my daughter @malia_obrian and about my pangga @itspokwang27 .

Chokoleit was born on June 25, 1972. He starred in several Kapamilya shows such as 'Marina', 'Mara Clara', 'Aryana', and 'Asintado'.
