An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Saudi got fired for pouring urine in her employer’s drink. KAMI learned that the Pinay worker alias Armida did that because she was told it would help her to make her boss to treat her better.
“May nagsabi kasi sa akin na para bumait daw sila, kaya binigyan ko lang naman ng konti,” Armida said, as reported by the ABS-CBN News (author Charles Tabbu).
The employer immediately suspected the Pinay worker when he drank the water and it smelled like urine. At first, Armida denied the allegation. However, the employer brought it to the doctor to examine it and found out that there was urine in it.

Due to anger, the employer made Armida drink the water with urine. The Pinay worker’s boss immediately reported her to the agency that deployed her there.
According to the report of the Filipino Times, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office-Overseas Workers Welfare Administration reminded the OFWs not to follow what Armida did.
“She was lucky that she was only fired by her employer and no charges were filed against her,” ni Labor Attaché Nasser Munder said.
“Lesson learned ito sa ating mga kababayan, na kahit anuman ang galit nila sa amo nito, iparating lang sa amin, at kami na ang mag-aayos. Puwede naming pag-usapan kung ano ang inyong idinadaing sa inyong sponsor. Magpasalamat siya at hindi kinasuhan ng kaniyang sponsor,” he added.
