Presidential daughter and campaign manager of regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) Sara Duterte-Carpio said that she will be rushing to Davao City for some urgent family matter. KAMI learned that Duterte-Carpio will be skipping the campaign event in Bicol, the “balwarte” of Vice President Leni Robredo.
In a report by the Inquirer, Baste Duterte will temporarily replace the Davao City mayor during the campaign rally in Bicol until Thursday.

Duterte-Carpio refused to give further details regarding the urgent family matter. She also said that she has no idea how long will it take to resolve the issue in Davao.
According to a report by the ABS-CBN News, the Presidential daughter said that she is observing a “ceasefire” with Robredo after they had a heated verbal exchange recently.
KAMI reported earlier that the Davao City mayor shared that she was scolded by her mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman, for bullying the opposition of the Duterte administration. Since then, Duterte-Carpio refrained from giving out criticisms to the Liberal Party.
