The It's Showtime family offered a moment of silence to pay tribute to the comedian, Chokoleit, who passed away on March 9.
KAMI learned that it was headed by Chokoleit's dear friend, Vice Ganda, together with Amy Perez.
The Unkabogable star requested the audience to remember the happiness that Chokoleit had shared to many, when he was still alive.
"Bago natin ituluy–tuloy ang kasiyahan natin ngayong araw na ito, ay gusto ho naming humiling sa inyo na sana po ay samahan niyo kami na sa pagkakataong ito ay gunitain ang masasayang alaala na ibinahagi sa atin ng isang mahal na mahal naming kapamilya na si Chokoleit," Vice Ganda requested.
Amy also requested everyone to offer a short prayer for the comedian.
"Madalang pipol, sa isang maigsing dasal para po sa aming kapamilya na si Chokoleit, sa kanyang paglalakbay, sana’y mahanap niya ang saya gaya ng kanyang pagbibigay ngiti sa amin. Gabayan niyo rin ang kanyang pamilya at mga naiwang mahal sa buhay," Amy added.

In a previous report by KAMI, Chokoleit died due to Pulmonary edema, which is a fluid accumulation in the tissue and air spaces of the lungs.
Jonathan Aguilar Garcia, better known by his stage name Chokoleit, is a Filipino comedian, actor, and TV host. He is best known for his role as Pearly Shell in the Philippine television series Marina.
