Teddy Corpuz finally exposed to public the action that he took with regards to the cursing issue that his fellow artist JK Labajo is facing.
KAMI learned that the young singer cursed and even showed his middle finger to an audience who yelled “I love you, Darren” when he was introducing his band.
Aside from netizens, the vocalist of the iconic band “Rocksteddy” also aired his reactions upon watching the viral video of JK.
Teddy initially expressed that every artist has a social responsibility when performing on stage and everything that he or she does can be used to define his or her personality.
The “It’s Showtime” host also stated that he wanted to have a friendly talk with JK to give some pieces of advice as a fellow “rakista.”
“Pero gusto ko sanang kausapin. ‘Uy kuys, hinay-hinay lang sa pagmumura.’ Kasi pag bata ka, baka feeling mo minsan cool yung nagmumura ka,” the singer quipped.
“Baka lang kailangan din ng guidance… Kung siguro may time kami mag-usap, baka pwede ko siyang i-encourage na, ‘Uy, steady lang… Pag may ganon, tawanan mo lang…’ he added.
In Teddy and JK’s recent Instagram posts, they both confirmed that they already talked and “apologized” to each other about the issue.
The veteran musician also aired his appreciation to the “The Voice Kids” finalist for not allowing the “system" to affect him.
“It was great talking to you brother to clear things out,” Teddy wrote.
“Ang saya lang kasi hindi tayo natibag ng sistema. More power to your music, brother. Let me treasure this day and our little conversation…” he concluded.
