Julian Flores is the sole Filipina contestant who made it to the Top 4 of Asia’s Next Top Model (AsNTM) Cycle 4.
On the May 11 episode, Julian won a pictorial and ramp modeling challenge in the reality TV show.
Despite her flawed exit on the ramp, the show’s hosts Cindy Bisho, Kelly Tandiono and creative director Yu Tsai commended Julian for her performance during the challenge.
Former Asia’s Next Top Model host Georgina Wilson and hairstylist Jing Monis also appeared as special guests in this episode.
Julian, who is described as a “goal-digger” in the Asia’s Next Top Model website, wants to be the first Filipina to win the competition.
The 25-year-old is no stranger to this kind of competition. She joined Bb Pilipinas in 2014 and landed a slot in the Top 15. She also placed 4 runner-up in the 2014 Miss Manila beauty contest.
The three other models joining Julian in the Final 4 are Patricia from Indonesia, San In from Korea and Tawan from Thailand.
AsNTM’s Cycle 4 started with two other Filipina contestants, Gwendoline Ruais and Alaiza Malinao, but both girls left the show after a double elimination.
Alaiza, despite her safe status in the competition, volunteered to leave saying she did not want to be on the show anymore.
