- The TNT Boys from the Philippines are now eliminated from “The World’s Best”
- However, a statement from one of the judges on their performance became trending
- This is after she aired her basis for judging the round’s winner
A judge in “The World’s Best” is now making rounds on social media after she aired her criterion for choosing who between “Naturally 7” and “TNT Boys” deserved her vote.
KAMI learned that the said juror was Zora Dehorter, an international casting director from Nigeria.
She exclaimed that her basis for judging the two remaining acts during the Group Music Championship round was “maturity.”
Although her vote obviously did not affect the result, the controversial judge still received heavy backlash from netizens.
Here are their reactions:
“Diyan ako nagalit. Maturity? Daming mature na di kumakanta ng may feelings. Being able to communicate with your audience is a factor for versatility. And that made the TNT boys stand out.”
“The most ridiculous reason to vote. Maturity? Why did they invite kid if they will be judged based on maturity? Nonsense. Not professional at all.”
“What? You gotta vote with maturity? Anong point niya para sabihin yun?”
Here are the videos of the trio’s performance and the judges’ score:
In a previous article by KAMI, it was reported that the Pinoy singers were already eliminated from the show despite achieving a standing ovation after their performance.
The TNT Boys are considered as one of the favorite groups in the said prestigious competition. Although they are already out of the contest, they will still rock many places with their upcoming world tour.
