PBB releases official statement after backlash on Lou and Andre's kiss

- Pinoy Big Brother has released its official statement regarding the March 4 episode

- It was where the viral kiss of Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette was aired

- PBB apologized to the "viewers who may have been offended by scenes"

The March 4 episode of Pinoy Big Brother Otso has been the center of controversy.

In a KAMI report, it stated that it was where Lou Yanong and Andre Brouillette shared a passionate kiss.

Aside from that, the fact that it was a pool party where drinks were shared, was also criticized by netizens.

Because of the backlash, PBB has recently released its official statement concerning the incident, through the Pinoy Big Brother ABS-CBN Facebok page, which reads as follows:

"Pinoy Big Brother Otso apologizes to the viewers who may have been offended by scenes in the 4th of March 2019 episode, showing the housemates having a pool party. The party was meant to strengthen the bond of the housemates and was not intended to offend the viewers' sensibilities. As a reality show, PBB Otso shall continue to offer its viewers lessons through real-life experiences of the housemates."
