- Lebron James is likely to miss playing in NBA playoffs for the first time since 2005
- This came after the Los Angeles Lakers was defeated by LA Clippers
- However, James said that he is “not sitting games” even after the big loss
With Los Angeles Lakers’ recent loss against LA Clippers, 113-105, the hope of Lebron James and his teammates of making it to the NBA playoffs has faded away. KAMI learned that James is most likely to miss the postseason for the first time after 2005.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Lakers had nine losses out of their last 12 games. Lakers are now ranking as the 10th team in the Western Conference.
However, James clarified that he has no plans of reducing his time on the court. He said that it can still happen soon.
"Unless I'm hurt, I'm not sitting games," James said.
“That conversation hasn't occurred, but I'm sure it can happen soon,” he added.
According to the Los Angeles Times, aside from a big loss, Lakers are also facing a hard time with their injured players.
Brandon Ingram was not able to play due to his right shoulder pain. Lance Stephenson experienced a sprained toe, while Tyson Chandler had neck stiffness.
“Haven’t been part of a season with this [many] injuries to all of our key guys. To big, big key guys,” James said.
