The Department of Justice (DOJ) has found a probable cause to charge Health Secretary Janette Garin and other people involved for reckless imprudence resulting in homiсide over the Dengvaxia controversy that allegedly caused multiple deaths.
However, KAMI learned that the Justice Department dismissed the complaints against current Health Secretary Francisco Duque due to insufficient evidence.
According to a report by the Philippine Star, other officials and employees of the DOH, as well as officials of Sanofi Pasteur Inc., are also indicted with the same charge. Here is the list:

- Dr. Gerardo Bayugo
- Dr. Lyndon Lee Suy
- Dr. Irma Asuncion
- Dr. Julius Lecciones
- Dr. Maria Joyce Ducusin
- Dr. Rosalind Vianzon
- Dr. Mario Baquilod
- Carlito Realuyo
- Stanislas Camart
- Jean Louis Grunwald
- Jean Francois Vacherand
- Conchita Santos
- Jazel Anne Calvo
Aside from them Maria Lourdes Santiago and Melody Zamudio of Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Socorro Lupisan and Dr. Maria Rosario Capeding of Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, are facing indictment.
In a report by the CNN Philippines, the Dengvaxia immunization program started in April 2016 in different schools and around 800,000 students were able to have it. However, there have been reports claiming that the Dengvaxia vaccine has caused deaths to some of the students.
