- A clueless couple uploaded a video of their 2-month-old child
- The video shows the newborn baby being fed lugaw while his hands were tied
- Netizens slammed the parents since newborn babies are supposed to only take in breast milk or formula milk
A video of a clueless couple and their 2-month-old baby has gone viral on social media.
KAMI learned that the couple made a “tutorial video” on feeding porridge or lugaw to their newborn son.
The video shows the baby with his hands tied up as his parents feed to him the porridge.
“Tie his hands up using this. Then, don’t forget to dilute the food with some water. Otherwise, without any water, we risk choking the child with food. Do try your best to feed the child first before bathing him.
“For young moms out there who have just given birth to their first child like me, here is my first child. Try to tie his hands up so he won’t move or throw a tantrum, but don’t tie it too tightly – it’s dangerous,” the dad said, as quoted by The Asian Parent (Authored by Aulina Trisna).
Here is the viral video uploaded on Facebook:
Netizens were outraged since newborn babies should only be given breast milk or formula milk and are not supposed to eat food.
Pediatricians usually advise parents to start giving solid food to babies in the 5th or 6th month of their life.
