Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio drove her big bike all the way from Laoag City, Ilocos Norte to Santiago City, Isabela. KAMI learned that Duterte-Carpio went to Isabela to attend the campaign rally of her regional party, Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP).
Through an Instagram post, Duterte-Carpio shared how sad it was for her not to be with her kids for the campaign caravan. Therefore, she opted to drive her motorcycle with her husky stuffed toy.
On another Instagram post, Duterte-Carpio introduced "Ella", her Yamaha XSR 900, and "Elvis", her husky stuffed toy. Ever since then, the Davao City Mayor has been driving her motorcycle to different places.
According to a report by Inquirer, the distance between Ilocos Norte and Isabela is more than 400 kilometers.
Born on May 31, 1978, Sara Duterte-Carpio is the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte. She is the incumbent Mayor of Davao City and already assumed the same post from 2010 to 2013. Duterte-Carpio used to be Davao City’s vice mayor from 2007 to 2010.
