Maj. Redenson Austria Depita of Philippine Army’s 11th Infantry Division has planned their wedding earlier as planned. The magical moment took place at the San Nicolas Church in Iloilo City last week.
Charity Joy Depita has shared on Facebook her experience of having a surprise wedding. According to her, all she knew was they were attending a friend’s wedding as a maid of honor and best man.
“All i know is mag attend lang kami ng wedding ng ka workmate ni hubby, as we invited As maid of honor and sya naman ang Best man,” the bride stated.
“When i saw the gown na susuotin ko, i was so shocked. He answered, bakit ayaw mo bang manalo sa contest na best in gown? And lahat daw ng abay ganun din damit pagandahan lang,” she added.
Charity said that despite her confusion, she just followed the instructions given to her. Later on, as she approached the church, she was shocked to see familiar faces.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Redenson shared what pushed him to plan a surprise wedding for his wife.
So 'yun ang nagtulak sa'kin,” the soldier said.
He also said that the venue and the outfits were planned carefully so that his wife won’t notice it. Their family and friends were also informed ahead of time. Redenson shared that he will be doing his best to be a good husband to his wife.
