- She did it to reach her four sleeping kids
- The mom was able to usher her kids out of the window of their home but she died in the process
A mother's love knows no bounds and this was proven by a 38-year-old mother from Bakersfield, California.
KAMI learned that the house of Kristina Stratton was on fire on February 7.
She was outside her home with one of her children but her four kids were still inside the burning inferno.
Without hesitation, she ran and entered the house and hastened upstairs where her four kids were still sleeping.
According to the Western Journal, Kristina was able to save her kids by having them jump out of the second-storey window, suffering only minor injuries.
The children were taken to the hospital, but firefighters found Kristina dead right inside their home.
Kristina, according to her neighbors, was a widow. Her husband died in 2014.
Their neighbors tried to salvage whatever things could be saved for the sake of the surviving children.
