Cheating starts as a thought or an idea. Once you have that idea of cheating, you will then have this purpose of looking for a reason to do it. That's already unfair to your partner in all forms. Sometimes, cheating is no longer a sin, but more of a choice, the choice of doing your partner wrong. Cheating on them will make them feel that they are not enough as a partner, that they lack something which you have found on somebody else. That would hurt them even more and crush them into smithereens.
