Ilocos Norte Governor and Senate candidate Imee Marcos insisted that she graduated from an Ivy League school, Princeton University. KAMI learned that Marcos claimed she did not know the spokesperson from Princeton who said she did not graduate from the prestigious university.
In an interview with News5, Marcos said that she graduated from Princeton as far as she knew.

Marcos also said that she did graduate from the University of the Philippines College of Law. Earlier, she also claimed that she graduated with Latin honors.
In a previous report by KAMI, according to Princeton University’s spokesperson, Michael Hotchkiss, their records showed that Marcos did not graduate from Princeton.
Other than that, an article posted in Princeton’s periodicals, which was published in 1983, claimed that Marcos “flunked out” from Princeton.
KAMI also reported before that UP Executive Vice President Teodoro Herbosa said that as per UP Registrar’s office, they do not hold any record that Marcos did graduate from UP College of Law.
