- Jiale Zhang’s story after her viral taho incident continues to unfold
- Her foster parents here in the Philippines urged the public to forgive the Chinese student
- They described her as a kind person who does not have vices
The story of Jiale Zhang, the Chinese commuter who splashed her taho at Police Officer 1 William Cristobal at Metro Rail Transit Line 3 Boni Station in Mandaluyong City, continues to unfold as new reports arrive.
KAMI learned that Zhang’s foster parents have broken their silence over the viral incident.
According to the Manila Bulletin, the foster parents urged the public to forgive Zhang and give her a second chance.
They added that the Chinese student has been sick for almost a week, which might have contributed to her unpleasant mood during the incident.
Zhang was also described by her foster parents as a kind person who avoids vices.
“She wants to finish her course here in the Philippines as a fashion designer and loves Filipinos as she loves us her foster parents. She asks for forgiveness for what she has done…
Zhang is 23 years old and has been in the Philippines for six years already.
She is in the country as a fashion design student.
The Chinese woman has apologized for what happened, saying that she was in a bad mood when the incident took place.
