'Kara Mia', the upcoming Kapuso show that went viral on social media is now confirmed to be the new rival show of 'FPJ's Ang Probinsyano'.
KAMI learned that it will replace 'Cain at Abel' which is set to end on February 15.
As reported by PEP.ph, the exciting news was confirmed by the GMA Vice President for Entertainment, Lilybeth Rasonable.
According to her, Kara Mia is extremely different from other shows that were assigned in the first prime-time slot. Thus, she wants the audience to give it a shot.
"It's so exciting for us kasi it's very different from what is being offered now on primetime on the first slot, but they should take a look," she said.
She also commended the lead stars of the fantasy series, Barbie Forteza and Mika Dela Cruz.
"Magugulat sila, at saka itong si Barbie and Mika, hay naku, makikita mo talaga kung gaano sila kagaling na artista, kasi ang hirap ng ginagawa nila and yet they are performing with flying colors. We've seen the pilot, talagang palakpakan. Palakpakan ang mga tao, mga nakakapanuod," she added.
In a previous report by KAMI, Netizens air various speculations about why ‘Cain At Abel’ is already on its final week.
“Ang Probinsyano” is a Kapamilya primetime series that has been airing for 3 years already. It remains as the most-watched show on television with more than 40% ratings.
