- GMA-7 teleserye “Cain At Abel” is already on its final week on television
- One of the cast members who announced it was Solenn Heussaff through Instagram
- A lot of netizens speculated the real reasons why it will end already
The online world was rocked once again after hearing the announcement that the Kapuso teleserye entitled “Cain At Abel” will only be airing until this Friday.
KAMI learned that the said drama series premiered on November 19, 2018 and it is pitted against the top-rating teleserye, “Ang Probinsyano.”
It is topbilled by GMA-7’s prominent actors such as Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo and it replaced “Victor Magtanggol” in the primetime bloc.
In an Instagram story posted by Solenn Heussaff yesterday, she wrote that “Cain At Abel” only has 5 nights left on television.
Because of this, a lot of netizens expressed their opinions about why the aforementioned drama series of GMA-7 will just last for less than 3 months.
Some of them attacked the “low” ratings of the show and they also claimed that the story is not as good as they expected.
However, other netizens speculated that it is because the replacement of “Cain At Abel,” which is “Kara Mia,” is already making noise although it has not been aired yet on the Kapuso network.
Here are the reactions of netizens:
“Well, GMA is really into short teleseryes like Korean drama to preserve the story. Tama nga naman at ng hindi paikot ikot.”
“Admit it, rating is really that low. That's the reality. So no need for sweet lemon excuse.”
“Hindi ko din bet istorya nito. Sana they explored other interesting plots and twists.”
“Hala grabe patapos na? Pangit kasi ang tandem ng casts eh. Yung mga babae pangit ang acting.”
In a previous article by KAMI, one of the directors of “Ang Probinsyano” resigned to help its counterpart teleserye.
“Cain At Abel” is a Philippine drama-action series directed by Mark A. Reyes. Its pilot episode registered a rating of 11.6 percent as reported by AGB Nielsen.
